LNL Conference, Awards and AGM

our first Landscape Awards of Excellence program to our members!

of Awards Program
• Promote the industry to the general public
• Recognize excellence within the industry
• Provide advertising and marketing opportunities
• Encourage landscape contractors/designers to continue
their efforts to raise the industry’s image by consistent
use of quality materials and competent workmanship
Eligibility
This provincial program is exclusive to Landscape Newfoundland
and Labrador members. Members can submit projects from the
past two years of work.
Jury and Judging
A jury of distinguished professionals in the fields of landscape
design, education and horticulture will evaluate entries based
on the materials (both plant and construction), design, completeness
of installation, workmanship and horticultural correctness
in landscape installation and maintenance using only the images,
plans and descriptions submitted with each entry.

Presentation of Awards
Recipients will be honoured and their awards presented at
the Awards of Excellence Gala during our new event, the All
Commodity Education Sessions (ACES) during a gala dinner on
Thursday March 22nd at the Comfort Inn, St. John’s.
- winners will be acknowledged at the Landscape and Garden
Show on April 28-29 at Jack Byrne Arena - this is a great
opportunity for public exposure!
National Awards Exposure
The winners of our provincial awards may be forwarded to the
National Awards Program for judging the following year. Ensure
that this is the year you participate!
